Yes. SaccoSphere is built on a genuine double-entry general ledger. Member savings, loans, shares, fees, interest and expenses all post balanced journalled entries, so the platform produces your financial statements rather than exporting to a separate bookkeeping tool.
Yes. Branches are first-class in SaccoSphere. Staff can be scoped to a branch, registers and cash tills are branch-aware, and management can view either a single branch or a consolidated position across the whole cooperative.
Members can pay deposits and loan repayments through mobile money and bank channels. The platform ingests provider callbacks and automatically matches each payment to the correct member, savings account and loan instalment, queueing only genuine exceptions for staff review.
Yes — this is the maker-checker engine. You define which actions need approval, at what value thresholds, and which roles may approve them. The person who recorded a transaction cannot approve it, and every decision is stamped with a reason, time and approver.
Yes. Each organisation can apply its own logo and colours and choose the languages offered to staff and members, so the portal reads as your cooperative rather than a third-party system.
During implementation we migrate your member register and opening balances from your current spreadsheets. Balances are agreed and signed off before go-live so the new ledger starts from a defensible position.
Every organisation is strictly isolated: all queries are scoped to your tenant, access requires authentication with optional two-factor verification, staff permissions are granular, and activity is written to an immutable audit trail.
No. SaccoSphere runs in the browser on desktop, tablet and phone. Staff and members sign in from any modern device — there is nothing to install or maintain on your side.
